We took 6 horses for 9 different riders, who collected 13 blues ribbons and 6 reserves, plus other good placings. Every person had a new or different challenge to conquer in this safe, pleasant facility to begin the show season. We are so proud that all of the hard work over the winter paid off for each of these teams.

The Crescendo was shown by Sydney Robbins to 2 very strong Reserves in the Juvenile Show Pleasure classes. Riding "Ernie" was a huge new challenge to Syd! She also placed a terrific third in the pattern class in a field of 9 strong competitors. Absolutely on Heir, 4 year old at his very first show, won the "Prospect Class" with Nadine VZ. This colt looks spookily like Nadine's "Wessel" equitation horse! Avis showed him the next day in the Adult Show Pleasure class, but his colt-like canter put him third.

Natalie Meyer showed The Last Shot to a fourth place in the UPHA Challenge Cup in a large class of competitive riders. She then showed Magic Phevor to a third in the Pattern Class in another large class of accomplished riders. Natalie rides with great precision!

Renae VZ rode He's Not Bad to a reserve the first day, then nailed a better performance the second day to win the Open Park Pleasure. "Stewart" just needs more experience in the ring.

Isabella Templeton's rides proved how much she has put in the practice this winter by winning both rail equitation classes plus winning once and getting second the other day in the pattern classes. It's a pretty exciting teaming with Absolutely Got It!

Nora Rasmussen, riding Magic Phevor, won all four of her academy classes. Maren Egging won 3 out of her 4 classes. Both riders won the high point awards for their division. Terrific! Our next show will be the Des Moines Springfest held at the Iowa State Fairgrounds April 23-26th.
