Timber Hills Farm brought several horses to the Iowa State Fair Grounds for the Des Moines Springfest Horse Show. Several riders showcased their talents in multiple divisions making the show an outstanding success. We are so proud of all of our riders and we greatly enjoyed the strong showing in the pairs class by our red caped wonders, Nora and Tilly! There were so many highlights from the weekend. We were especially glad to have three of our college riders able to take time before finals to join in the fun. Rachel Farner and Avis Van Zomeren shared showing duties riding The Crescendo, and Nadine Van Zomeren jumped aboard the young homebred Absolutely On Heir. Avis finally got to break out a formal suit and show her equitation skills qualifying for the UPHA Adult Equitation Finals. Izzy Templeton and Renae had a great time showing Born to Charm in the Pro-Am class before Izzy went on to score top honors in the Pleasure Equitation division riding Absolutely Got It. Sydney marched Rebel around the ring, including taking Rebel in his first pattern class! Tilly, Nora, and Grace led the charge in the academy division for Timber Hills. Check out our facebook page for candid pictures from the weekend and saddlehorsereport.com for all online results. Our next show will be FASH Horse Show up in St. Paul, Minnesota.
